 Presented by Pure Media UK in association with Urbaniks Productions The Urban Chillax street dance competition is an intense head-to-head battle featuring some of Scotland’s brightest young dancer’s all vying to be crowned champions. Since 2005, dance has always played a prominent role in The Ultimate Chill. The dance element continued to grow at the yearly arts festival and it was in 2006 when the inaugural Urban Chillax was born.  Crammed into the festivities of the day we soon realised that the sheer degree of interest generated demanded that this become an event in it’s own right. Paul Joseph, long-time Pure Media UK collaborator, was on hand to supply the knowhow and the relevant logistics and soon Scotland’s street dance competition dedicated to free expression was born. The event in 2008 attracted double the audience and dancers than the year previous. Urban Chillax is with us to stay. For information, check out the Urban Chillax website!
