The Ultimate Chill is a music driven fresco of poetry, theatre, and art that showcases the best new creative talent from all over Scotland alongside more established artists. Its birth in 2000 in local high school Baldragon Academy as a one off pre-exam ‘chill out’ evening was driven by a group of radical young voices seeking to express themselves within a climate of frustration.This ‘one-off’ event became the beginning of an exciting ten year journey for The Ultimate Chill, with these voices finding a deep resonance throughout Scotland. The result was a steady growth in regional and national significance.

Having taken a break from The Ultimate Chill in 2008, we are currently preparing to host The Ultimate Chill 10th year celebration this summer which will feature a programme  showcasing work created by many of the individual projects taking place within Pure Media UK this year and some of the best new talent from around Scotland.
