A Word From The Creative DirectorI first became involved with Pure Media UK when I was 15 and they encouraged and inspired me to follow my passion for music. While I was at Music School I developed an interest in community arts and Pure Media UK gave me the opportunity to pursue this interest through there iGNiTE process. This process helped me to grow in confidence and showed me how powerful the creative arts can be. I observed continuously how much people would change over three days, when we would first arrive they would be shy and unwilling to get involved but by the third day they were up performing the poems, songs, dances and drama pieces which they had created. I now work full time for Pure Media UK and on a daily basis I get to work alongside people to encourage them to reach their full potential. In the future I would like to see our work grow in all aspects of the community for example schools, homeless units, youth groups so that all people can have a bright future and realize what is out there for them to reach for. Thank you Layla Brown
